On February 11, it was celebrated around the world under the motto of \u201cTogether for a better Internet\u201d. A1 also contributes with local initiatives in its various markets and takes responsibility for building awareness and paving the way for a better internet for all of us.<br>\u00a0<br>On February 13, for example, the conference \u201cGrowing up in the digital world\u201d was held at the A1 headquarters in Vienna. To mark this year&#8217;s Safer Internet Day, the EU initiative Saferinternet.at discussed digital trends and challenges in the lives of young people in front of an expert audience. This included leaflets with infos on child safety online and their distribution online and in orphanages as well as boarding schools. Additionally: A \u201csafety &amp; security\u201d landing page update at A1.by and a partnership with \u201cBelta\u201d for a series of video on cybersecurity with experts from A1 sharing safety tips. Moreover, a PR campaign with media in bloggers, a targeted campaign via SMS &amp; My A1 and a digital-campaign in social media were conducted.<br><br>A1 Croatia launched the BoljiOnline Bot. This is an AI based chatbot available for everyone to provide anonymously and verified\u00a0advice on online safety.\u00a0Panel discussions with experts and influencers were held, focusing on safety topics. A press conference addressed different stakeholders and raised awareness for these issues.
