Entirely under the motto “Sustainable Partnerships: Building Competitive Advantage Together,” this year’s A1 Group Stakeholder Roundtable took place on September 29, 2025, in Vienna. Once again, we invited our stakeholders to join us in an open dialogue to discuss key sustainability topics related to our global supply chain.

To ensure a diversity of perspectives on the topic of the supply chain issues, a total of 50 national and international stakeholders participated in the event. Among them were representatives from politics, public authorities, media, finance and regulatory institutions, civil society, academia, NGOs, business customers, suppliers, and ESG experts. Their contributions resulted in an open and inspiring discussion, enabling us to examine current challenges from different viewpoints, develop new ideas, and work together on innovative solutions.

In line with this year’s central theme, six roundtable discussions were held, each focusing on a different aspect of the supply chain. The topics ranged from ESG criteria in procurement and human rights, to creating competitive advantages through collaboration among different players, the management of supply chain risks, energy supply for telecommunications companies, and ESG performance management.

Conversations with stakeholders were held across two consecutive rounds. In the first round, the main challenges related to each table’s topic were identified, and the three or four most significant ones were selected for the next round. In the second round, these selected topics were discussed in greater depth, and various initiatives and action concepts were developed to enable A1 to successfully address these challenges.

This close cross-stakeholder collaboration along the supply chains highlights A1’s commitment to promoting sustainable supply chains, finding new opportunities for collaboration, and creating valuable environmental and social benefits.
