The Internet has accelerated our lives enormously. One click is all it takes for data, images or news to reach the whole world. A huge step forward for mankind. But not always.
The A1 Group provides internet to around 30 million customers in 7 countries. We want our network and our services to enrich lives and do no harm to anyone. That’s why it’s sometimes right to pause for a moment. That’s the idea behind 5 seconds – a campaign that is design to raisin awareness in all A1 countries since 2024.
5 seconds make a difference!
5 seconds decide whether an inappropriate comment hurts another person, whether a private photo falls into the wrong hands or whether a phishing email causes damage. In short: 5 seconds decide whether the internet becomes a better place.
Campaign in all A1 Group countries
The “Take 5 Seconds”-campaign will run throughout 2025 in different forms in all A1 countries. AT A1 Belarus the focus lies on seniors who are often victims of online fraud. For A1 Croatia and A1 Serbia, the target group is young people, who we want to encourage to think for a moment about their choice of words online. And A1 Digital is raising awareness of security and data privacy among business customers.
